Description
So many details my brain is going to explode!!!
I can't say how much I'm proud of this drawing.
It started like a challenge, I just wanted to try to paint without the lineart. I thought it was going to be hard and I wasn't sure if I was able to do it, but as I went on I was amazed by how easily I was succeeding!
Despite the fact that I still don't like his name, Ezio grew in my heart paint stroke after paint stroke... I think he awoke some kind of long lost Italian pride inside me!
And damn, I *love* his outfit! It's so... so... geez, I can't find a word to say how beautiful it is!
About the drawing: I used the only picture of Ezio available so far as reference, a photo for the pose (credits below), basic Photoshop brushes, a texture and a hard edited picture of Venice as background. I first tried to edit the photo to make it look like a Leonardo Da Vinci's sketch, but though I liked the result, it was far too different from my drawing and they didn't merge. So I chose this solution.
Can't wait to play the game!!!
Edit 1: stupid me forgot the red stripy things on the lower part of the dress. Also, done some minor changes.
Edit 2: reduced the lower left side of the dress behind the legs, to give it a bit more movement. Slightly enhanced light colors. Modified the cape and changed its perspective. Redone the background because I wrongly saved the previous version with merged levels, stupid me again.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze & Assassin's Creed: (tm) Ubisoft

Venice background picture: somewhere around the internet...
